Useing VFX graphs on default renderer?

I would like to ask if i will run into any problems when I will use VFX graphs on default renderer. Everywhere I look everyone is telling that I need URP or HDRP, but when I tried it I could normaly place my VFX into my scene. Will I run in any problems when I will be using it without URP or HDRP? Sorry for my english and thank you for your help.
