Jumping animation looping [im bad at titles]

So I was following a brackeys tutorial on animations and when I did the jumping instead of the way his jumping was working, mine was playing once then wouldnt play midair anymore but if i pressed w/space midair it would loop the animation, I can provide screenshots or my scripts if need be but idk whats causing this.
