2D Jump to end animation before next animation

I currently have root motion in my animations controlling the movement of my blocks for a puzzle game. Currently the animations keep the blocks on the grid as intended but when I try to cancel an animation into another animation it de-syncs with the grid. I would like to know how to force an animation to jump to its final position before moving into the next animation.

For example, the block moves down 1 unit; halfway during the movement I want to now move it left 1 unit. I want it to teleport to the final position it would have had if we let the down movement finish before starting the new left movement animation.
